Easter 2007, attack of the grandparents!

So, for Easter we went up to spend time with my dad's family in Madison, WI. Warning, they are crazy!!! They made me wear bunny ears and put eggs all around me. What is going on?? At least everyone seemed to be enjoying the show as they were all laughing.

Here is a picture of me with all of the little cousins. They are actually all 2nd and 1st cousins once removed, but who can keep track? Again with the bunny ears. I just hope grandma and grandpa Studee don't dress me up like uncle sam for the 4th of July! (oh no, I gave them an idea)

A mother's lament

Why oh why sweet baby do you switch up your schedule on a mama and a daddy without any warning? Why, after a week of getting up once at night do you decide that it is a good idea to get up every hour? Does my little one have teeth coming in? Are you ill? Mama doesn't know, she is too tired to think straight. We still love you, munchkin, despite our sleep-deprived state.

Some thoughts on eating

So, I have been eating solid food for about a month now, and overall I am quite good at it and like what my mom and dad give me. HOWEVER, this green stuff my mom tries to feed me I am not too sure about. I do like how it gets my face and clothes all messy though!

Ah, the therapy bills

So, we were at Spring Training last week. Here is something you should know. Mom is a BIG Cubs fan and Dad is a BIG Sox fan. Somehow, they have managed to peacefully co-exist for 7 years, but now they each want me to root for THIER team! Oh, the expectations, the agony! At least I don't look too agonized yet dressed up to root for both teams. That's me below wearing a Sox onesie and a Cubbie hat!

Raising Arizona

So, last week we spent time in Arizona with my Grandma Barb and Grandpa Bill. We were sure busy, so busy I missed at least one nap everyday! Here is what I did:

* Took my first plane ride

* Went to 3 spring training games (2 cubs, 1 sox)

* Went hiking with the family in Sedona

* Took lots of walks

* Played with Grandma and Grandpa

* Finally got the hang of rolling from my back to my front

It was so hot there (above 80) and I learned I get a prickly rash from the heat. Mom and Grandma kept rubbing all sorts of potions on me to protect me from the sun and help my rash. The good thing about hot weather is I get to hang out in a onesie all day! Yipee!

Here is a picture of me, grandma, and mom all ready to hike!
